Director of Audio Visual – Event Venues

Cory’s is seeking a dynamic Director of Audio Visual to oversee operations, sales, and customer service for our event venues. We specialize in delivering high-quality audio visual services and exceptional experiences to our clients.

Responsibilities:

– Maximize revenue and profitability through effective cost control measures.
– Manage daily operations, including scheduling, equipment setups, and strikes.
– Develop sales strategies to maximize revenue per event.
– Cultivate strong relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal teams.
– Demonstrate technical expertise and troubleshoot equipment issues.
– Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

1. Financial Management and Reporting: Drive revenue and profitability by implementing cost control measures, analyzing operational and financial reports, and coordinating accurate billing.
2. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and high-quality equipment setups, strikes, and inventory control procedures.
3. Sales Management: Collaborate with hotel staff, deliver compelling presentations, and generate quotes to maximize revenue per event and capture new sales opportunities.
4. Customer Service: Cultivate strong relationships, exceed customer expectations through accurate equipment setup and continuous support, and maintain a professional image.
5. Technical Ability: Demonstrate expertise in audio visual equipment, troubleshoot effectively, and provide guidance to resolve technical issues.
6. People Development: Coach and develop team members, conduct training sessions to ensure adherence to standards, and identify training opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

– High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– Minimum 3 years of audio visual experience.
– Strong knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environments.
– Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
– Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable communication.
