We recently asked Elizabeth about why she loves what she does and how she helps deliver the best event audio visual service in the business.
What do you do with Cory’s Audio Visual?
I have the best of both worlds! I get to work with our incredibly talented team of technicians and our passionate clients to bring their ideas to life. I’m the funnel of information and the logistics of the production is my primary role. I spend a lot of time working with our clients as their events develop and change – and then it’s my responsibility to make sure our team is informed of the plan and prepared when they are on a job site.
Is there an event you are particularly proud of, and why?
I would say it is the big bi-annual staff event for a large oil and gas company headquartered in Oklahoma City. With it being a twice a year event – there is a lot of opportunities to improve some of the finer points of their show. Each time it goes a little smoother and the client is more impressed with our team, so I count that as a big success!
Why do you love working in audio visual?
AV is an area where many clients are not confident of their own abilities to know what they need. I have learned a lot about the industry in this job, and I enjoy passing that knowledge on to my clients, so they feel more educated and empowered the next time they work with us on an event. I have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people – we are a huge part of making their events a success – and that is my favorite part of the job!
